Love, couples holding hands, walking down the street, seeming almost unaware of anything else but their significant other.
But we should not forget that there a lot of different types of love out there, the love between friends, the ancient greek called it philia. Aristotle believed that a person can bear goodwill to another for one of three reasons: that he is useful; that he is pleasant; and, above all, that he is good. Friendships founded on goodness are associated not only with mutual benefit but also with companionship, dependability, and trust.
HAVE A FRIEND DATE! Put the same amount and effort on a date with your best friend as if you were to go out with someone you have romantic feelings for. Best thing is, it doesn’t just have to be one friend! Get together, have a nice dinner, do something fun, like karaoke, or.. An ESCAPE ROOM! There is also the love of family, the bond that connects the parents with their children, the ancient greeks also had a specific word for this type of love, and they called it Storge.
