Is there anyone else who finds the Easter bunny to kind of… weird? Somewhere along the way, this Christian holiday started to include a festive bunny that leaves treats for children. How did this come to be?
One theory is that the Easter bunny comes from the German tale of a hare that laid eggs, called the “Osterhase”. The kids would traditionally make nests for the hare to lay its colorful eggs in. Today, the Easter egg hunt is the most anticipated part of Easter for most kids!
